Keep It Clean: No explicit, illegal, or inappropriate content. Violations of these principles may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Stedi community.
Safety Tips
Online:
- Keep personal details (home address, work location, financial info) private until trust is built.
- Use the app’s chat feature instead of sharing your phone number or social handles right away.
- Watch for red flags anyone who asks for money, gifts, or favors is not acting in good faith.
Offline:
- Meet in public places for your first few dates (like cafés, parks, or restaurants).
- Let a friend know where you’re going and who you’re meeting.
- Arrange your own transportation, don’t share your ride or let someone pick you up initially.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you can leave or block the user immediately.
Remember: genuine people will always respect your pace and your boundaries.
Reporting & Verification
Profile Verification:
- All users are encouraged to verify their identity through our photo verification system, helping ensure real profiles and real people.
- Verified members receive a badge to signal authenticity.
Reporting:
- You can report users directly from their profile or chat for behavior that feels unsafe, dishonest, or inappropriate.
- Every report is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team, confidentially and promptly.
- False reports or misuse of this feature are also taken seriously to protect fairness.
